Welcome to the Asia-Pacific Resuscitation Conference 2026!


On behalf of the Malaysia Resuscitation Association (MyRES) in collaboration with Penang Heart Safe Society (PHSS), we are delighted to invite you to join us for a very special conference involving many experts in International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) as our speakers. The conference will be held on 10th to 12th July 2026 at St. Giles Wembley Hotel, Penang, Malaysia.

The Highlights of this conference is featuring the latest Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Guidelines 2025 updates and insights. This International Resuscitation Conference is a scientific gathering for healthcare professional, research and advocates to discuss and share the latest technological advancement, new guideline, multidisciplinary approach, survivor involvement, community and public health regarding the best practice in CPR and Emergency Care.

The events feature presentation and networking opportunities focused on topics like Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support, resuscitation, technology and improving community response to cardiac arrest. The goal is to improve patient outcome and save more lives by fostering collaboration and implementing new knowledge in the field. The Organizing Committee and Scientific Committee are working hard to make the conference highly impactful and memorable.

1. Who is eligible to attend APRC 2026?

The International Resuscitation Conference 2025 is open to healthcare professionals, researchers, academicians, emergency responders, policymakers, and resuscitation advocates who are involved or interested in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Emergency Care, Basic and Advanced Life Support, resuscitation science, technology, and community response to cardiac arrest. The conference is designed for professionals committed to improving patient outcomes and advancing best practices in resuscitation and emergency care.


2. What is the official language of the conference?

The official language of APRC 2025 is English. All sessions and materials will be presented in English.


3. What is the dress code for the conference?

The dress code for APRC 2026 is business casual. 


4. Will there be a virtual or hybrid option for the conference?

No, APRC 2026 will be held exclusively as an in-person event. Virtual attendance is not available.


1. How do I register for the event?

Step 1 : Please click on "Delegate Registration"

Step 2 : Fill in all the required fields in the registration form.

Step 3 : Proceed to the payment page and make the payment.

Step 4 : Click the "Submit" button to finalise your registration.

Step 5 : Once completed, you will receive an official confirmation email for your registration, in addition to the payment receipt from Razorpay.


2. What is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee covers access to conference sessions, coffee breaks and lunch for 3 days.


3. What should I do if I do not receive the official confirmation email?

Please check your spam or junk email folder. If it is not there, please contact our support team at aprc2026@penangheartsafe.org.my.


4. Is my registration transferable if I can’t attend?

Fees paid are non-refundable. In the event of unavailability to attend, replacement may be allowed on a case by case basis. Please contact our support team at aprc2026@penangheartsafe.org.my for any special requests regarding attendance changes.


5. What is the refund policy for cancellations?

Refunds are subject to the conference’s cancellation policy. Requests for cancellations must be made in writing no later than one (1) month before the event and administrative fees may apply. The approved refund will be processed one (1) month after the event. 


6. How do I request for a formal invitation letter to get approval from my institution administration to attend the conference?

Please send an email request to aprc2026@penangheartsafe.org.my.


Criteria for participants intending to participate in the pre-congress workshops: 


BLSIC

1. Participants must have a valid BLS provider certificate (within 3 years).

2. Participants must show evidence of active involvement in teaching of BLS provider courses from the organisation he/she is representing.


ALSIC

1. Participants must have a valid BLS and ALS provider certificate (within 3 years).

2. Participants must show evidence of active participation in teaching of ALS provider courses from organisation he/she is representing.

1. Both the Pre-Conference Workshops (BLSIC and ALSIC) and the Conference are approved under HRDC SBL scheme. 

2. Registered participants intend to apply for this scheme may contact our support team at aprc2026@penangheartsafe.org.my for the approval letter.

3. Upon completion of the event, the certificate of attendance and the receipt will be issued for the participants.

1. Is there an official hotel for the conference?

The official venue and recommended hotel for the conference is St. Giles Wembley Penang Hotel. Participants are encouraged to book early to secure preferential rates at https://www.stgileshotels.com/wembley/.


2. Do I need a visa to attend the conference in Malaysia?

Visa requirements depend on your nationality. We recommend checking with the Malaysian Immigration Department or your local Malaysian consulate for the latest visa regulations. For more details, please visit www.imi.gov.my/index.php/en/main-services/visa/visa-requirement-by-country/.

If you need a supporting invitation letter for visa purposes, you may request one from the conference secretariat.


3. What is the required validity period for my passport?

Please ensure your passport (or equivalent internationally-recognized travel document) is valid for at least six (6) months beyond your planned stay in Malaysia.


4. Is travel and medical insurance included in the conference registration fees?

Travel and medical insurance are not included in your conference registration fees. It is strongly recommended that you purchase your own policy, covering:

Cancellation of conference participation or the event itself

Trip cancellation or interruption

Medical expenses abroad

Loss or damage to personal property

Additional expenses and repatriation in case of emergency

Neither the conference secretariat nor the organizers are responsible for any uninsured losses.


5. Do I need to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) before traveling?

All attendees are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three (3) days prior to their arrival in Malaysia. The MDAC can be submitted online through the official portal: https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main.


6. Is transportation provided from the airport to the conference venue?

No, participants will need to arrange their own airport transfers. However, public transport, ride-hailing services (Grab), and hotel shuttles may be available.
